Meet Bao Hoang, the heart of Roll’d. Growing up, Bao had a love for his mother’s traditional Vietnamese cooking, especially her rice paper rolls. After years in the franchise world, he realised he could combine his passion for food with entrepreneurship. That’s when inspiration struck!
With a vision to bring Vietnam’s vibrant flavours to Australia, Bao teamed up with friend Ray and cousin Tin. Together, they aimed to create a fast, fresh & healthy that captures the essence of Vietnamese street food, infused with warmth and community.
In 2012, when the first Roll’d store opened in Melbourne, it sold out in just 90 minutes. From that moment, Roll’d took off and hasn’t slowed down since. By 2013, Roll’d had 14 stores, and today, with over 140 store openings and serving over 7 millions of satisfied customers, Roll’d is a family dedicated to sharing Vietnamese flavours and unforgettable experiences.
At Roll’d, we believe in good food’s power to bring people together. It all started with Bao’s passion for his mom’s cooking and a dream to share that joy.
